Sometimes your life feels perfect…like it is exactly as it should be. Have you experienced this? And sometimes something just feels off in an area of your life. It is as though your life is telling you to make a change. Have you experienced this? I sure have. I had spent a lot of my life working hard and building a huge Direct Sales business, earning accolades from the corporate offices at multiple companies but it was like my life was telling me I needed to make a serious change. Something was just not right. I was working like crazy but getting only so far, not achieving the success I really should have been getting for the amount of work I was putting in.  If this is you , too, you might want to take a look at some strategies that can help you if you are working like crazy but getting no where (click here for the video.) That “off” feeling was my life, my gut, the universe, or the Divine, telling me that something needed to change. And am I glad I did listen and made a change because my life just clicked!

Here are four ways that YOU can recognize if your life is telling you that you need a change. Read on to see if you are getting these signals for change in your life.

1.You constantly dream about something other than what you are doing.

Dreaming is good- we all need to dream to find our passions and direction in life. But that doesn’t mean it should be to the point of distraction. Distraction is a sure sign of avoiding the present circumstance/job. Ask yourself why you’re afraid to stay in the now.

2.  You say “no” to new opportunities from a place of fear.

This is a big one. And easy to miss, too. Talking yourself out of opportunities can seem like the right thing at the time, but often in hindsight it can be regrettable. Live fearlessly! Don’t be afraid to let go in order to grab onto something that might challenge you and push forward.

3. You have ideas for projects but you haven’t done anything.

If you find yourself constantly pushing back projects, such as a book, maybe it’s because you’re procrastinating. This is sorta like saying no to opportunities that present themselves…but this is an opportunity you’re creating. So the question is, what are you afraid of??

and finally, number 4. You feel trapped.

Feeling trapped is normal for many people. But doesn’t mean it’s desirable. You have to be willing to let go of things that don’t serve you, such as jobs, relationships, or living situations.

If you recognize any of these in your life, it may be time to re-evaluate what you are doing and see if a change wouldn’t ultimately make you happier than you are now.
