I decided it would be fun to start a new blog series, that I’ll share from time to time, about one of my good customers. In this post, you’ll meet Lena. She’s a mom of two and is a third grade teacher. She also loved the products so much that she started sharing and building a business as well.

When did you get started using essential oils? No idea. Do you know? I’m going to guess it was around 2018. I know the LLV (Lifelong Vitality) was already working it’s magic in me in May of 2019.

What finally convinced you to give them a try? Ross (husband) had a toothache, and you had him rub clove oil on it. It worked within seconds. When he eventually got to the dentist and asked if that made sense, she said something like, “Yes. We use clove oil in the glue for our fillings.”

What is your favorite oil? That question isn’t fair. How do I pick? Cedarwood. No, lemongrass. No. Peppermint. No! White grapefruit! Wait. Maybe tea tree.

What are you most surprised about on your dōTERRA journey? Oils continue to amaze me. On Christmas day 2019 I was certain I had a UTI. Even though I know oils work, I was still surprised when I was able to successfully treat the it without a trip to the doctor. I no longer take an over the counter allergy medication at all. I completely treat my seasonal allergies with peppermint, lavender, and lemon oils. I had been using both until my eye doctor mentioned that she made the switch to Triease (blend of peppermint, lavender, and lemon). I finally bought the citrus bliss soap everyone raves about because I just couldn’t imagine what the big deal was – it’s soap. I get it now. It’s amazing. I really shouldn’t be surprised, anymore.

Best oil tip you can share? Oils are versatile. Don’t forget to look into everything your favorite oil can do for you. I’ve decided tea tree is my favorite for this very reason. Topically our family uses it for blemishes, any skin irritations, and dry scalp. It’s one of the ingredients in the sinus bomb, and for a severe sore throat, we’ve been known to swallow a bit. I’m completely serious when I say that while it tastes horrible, it’s worth it. It does the job. Oh man! I wonder if On Guard throat drops should be on my list of possible favorites. 😉

Want to try any of the products listed? Just let me know and I’ll be happy to send you a sample.
